Sunburnt - Lobster red
Yesterday my brother asked me to drive his 2×4 with some stuffs up to the family bungalow. It was not exactly what I wanted to hear, having not had any sleep over the last 24hrs.
Anyway, agreed to do it and then decided to use the occasion to get some suntan. Well, I only spent at most 4hrs under the sun, albeit around midday. Then when the rest of the family came, I left and went for food. Everybody said that I had got a heavy shade of red and I went “No, I put lots of sunscreen lotion and reapplied frequently.” After a quick check in the mirror, I was shocked as I don’t normally get sunburnt before.
Well, now (just before 1am local time) my body hurts, my hands and joints are aching and it feels like hell. :(
Jeez, I’m gonna peel a lot in the next few days. Ouch! Hope my friends don’t start slapping my shoulders
