New passport
I finally got my new passport today. I was a little surprised to see that the number has changed, then I realised these things are numbered as they are created. The new passport model is about the same as the old one. Was a little disappointed. Now I only need to decide on my visa and flight tickets before leaving for HK and China. But I will only leave after my friend’s wedding later this month.

There are a holographic(?) watermark in the new passport, making it more difficult to counterfeit. It is valid for 10years, like the old one. I liked the old one because the issue date was Christmas day itself. In my new passport picture, they trimmed the picture to just insert my face. Damn, I look so fat like that :sad: I will be in China first week of June if all goes well.

ohh the passport num is different? I’m still waiting for my new passport. I am having it done in Beijing. What’s the big deal about changing passports if it’s almost the same then? For how long is the new passport valid? You are coming back to China? cool :)
