Domain registration password lost
Aaargh!
As I said earlier, the email address that I used before for all my correspondence has been terminated without notice, forcing me to use other email addresses instead. Well, this week I tried to log on to the domain registration company to update my details, but realised I’ve forgotten my password. I had chosen a complcated password, not the usual ones I use for email addresses. And I just
can’t remember what it is.
Now, it’s not like for hotmail where you get a ’secret question’ option to get the password or account back. For forgotten password, you have 3 options. Write your account name, your email address or your web domain. And they will post the details or password to the
MAIL ACCOUNT ON THEIR DATABASE.
That mail account is no longer available, how can I retrieve the password mail back? It’s a catch 22 situation.
And of course the domain registration company won’t accept sending the password to my new mail account although I am the owner of the site.
Maybe the only option left to me is to ‘buy back’ the web domain after it expires.
Edited to add: Just got a mail (Fri 18 Aug @ 1am) from the web domain company. Maybe I will be able to sort things out finally.:cheerleader:

Whoa! That is a lot of smileys to choose from!
Anyway…
Surely, they must have a contact phone number on which you can call them and try to sort things out.
