Sleepless in Shanghai
Have not been able to find sleep tonight, although very tired.:gosleep: I have spent some time turning over in my bed, then updated my Fantasy Football team (BTW, if any Mauritians know of a league for Mauritian managers, let me know the code to join :thanks:)
Why cannot sleep? I don’t know if it’s the heat, or the lack of interviews for job…. Or both of them. I have a few weeks left before my visa expires and I should double my efforts to land a job.
I have to let my housemate know if I will extend my rent or not before mid-Sept. I don’t know yet what I will do. Stay in SH, move to BJ,… go somewhere else? Tough decision.
I have a Chinese friend who I was talking to on the net the other day, and she told me she was looking for investors to open a restaurant. I am waiting for her feasibility study first (she used to work as a project consultant in a big firm but now wants to open her own business) and then will see about the venture. Might join her depending on what she proposes. I need to find someone to check if I can stay in China if I do open a small company with a local. And if so, what kind of visa will I get.
