独一无二, 无尽的爱

When I was back home, with my sister I used to watch a French show called “A prendre ou a laisser” ( French for “Take it or leave it”. I am sure there’s a British / American version also). Tonight was the first time I came aross the equivalent Chinese program. I have wondered if the Chinese already had a Chinese version of that game, and what would be their top prize. It seems to be RMB50,000 but as I came across it halfway through the show, not too sure.

In tonight’s program, in the end the candidate was having to choose between the covered plates of RMB50,000 and I think RMB85. Well, the bloke won the 50grand and he was really delighted. But I was sad to see that there was not the same suspense as the French one. It was straight forward ‘what number do you chose to reveal? Ok, let’s go for it’ type of dialogues till the end. In the French version, Arthur did a great job teasing the candidates, and the ‘banker’ who called several times for crazy or very enticing offer made the show a great one to follow. Plus the candidate nearly in tears when the last box is being opened and finding out if he/she made the right choice in keeping his/her box… Nail biting.
