China - Africa forum
This week we have a forum about Cooperation between China and African countries in Beijing. The other night, as I was going through Wangfujing, I saw an exhibition of, or rather an introduction to, the African countries through some posters, and took some pictures. As I was taking the pictures of the Mauritius posters, a Chinese couple was saying they didn’t know there were some Chinese there. I couldn’t help but say I am from Mauritius and see them go “Ah?” in total surprise.

Perhaps they thought that since it was Africa, they never thought Mauritius forms part of the African continent.

go Mauritius!! hehe ah well…most Chinese people don’t know where Mauritius is.
