Hug hug
I have been thinking of this since I saw the post on Aline’s blog (see here) but as I was not sure how to put this into Chinese, and try and get to hug some cute Chinese girls, I didn’t do it. However, yesterday, as I was going to take the Dawanglu Station on my way back, I saw a couple of girls that were offering free hugs.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to take the picture of the one I did get to hug, and she was damn cute. :(
Update: Link to a site with pictures of hugs in Wudaokou, near where I am now.
Update2: Other pictures of the 2 girls I met. They are both actually singers; one of them, 琪琪格, was a candidate in this year’s Supergirl show (Kind of “Superstar” in Female Chinese format), and a former model.

Well, the passers-by were mainly amused to see this, and only a young Chinese mother went to get a hug when I was passing by. And when I was talking to a friend later that evening, she said it was strange to have such ‘idealist’ in China. I had the impression that she was looking down on such thing. ![]()
