Winter is here
Winter is here, and the temperature has been falling steady since Mid-November. It snowed lightly yesterday morning. No need to tell you that I was sleeping soundly and didn’t notice anything. 
It is quite surprising to find snow in BJ that early during winter though.
Last year when I was in SH, while most people had quickly started wearing heavy padded winter coat I spent a large part of winter wearing a light red jacket only. Well, this year also, I have been wearing a light hooded jacket to date. However, as from next week, it’s gonna change. You can find a picture of people in their heavy coats yesterday while the coat that I was wearing (picture of the brown hooded thing) to go out is about twice the thickness of that of a good shirt. So, basically still thin. For the little ‘African’ that I am, it’s really something. 
Next week I am going to wear my Anapurna coat, which I bought earlier this month, for about 260rmb (about Rs1,000 for those back home). It’s probably a fake one, but it keeps really warm. I know there are coats that could be bargained for about 150rmb, but they don’t look that good… Anyway, I’m happy with it and think it’s worth the price. That’s the most important thing.
