My first time in a recording studio

On the air

As I mentioned before, I went to a recording studio where a friend of mine was having a session for her job. She had to have some people (mix of foreigners and locals) discuss a theme, then some English speakers to read some English articles.

I tried to be relax, but you could sense the stress in my voice at the beginning, when I was reading the articles…. That was my first time. And no need to say I pronounced several words wrongly, meaning we had to redo these sentences again and again. :busted:

At the end of the day, it was an interesting experience and didn’t go too badly. Whether I will be called in again, I don’t know. But I will remember this trial.

What did you read? A shakesperian storyboard or a mandarin story. Do not tell me that you stressed on the former…. Shame man, shame!!! And how could they make you repeat a couple of times the same thing???? They could have picked some of the mistakes you made and this could have boosted the audience. Tsss… no sense of humour!!!! BTW you could have made some funny jokes also.. histoire de semer les graines….

I read news stories. It is supposed to be a very professional recording, you can’t have the newsreader stammering or having bad pronunciations. Some Chinese readers learn/practice their English from these, so got to make good impression.
