Bad night for football (rant)
On Thursday morning I was watching the final of the Champions League Cup. The long-awaited ‘revenge’ between AC Milan and Liverpool. Well, it turned out to be nowhere as interesting as the May 2005 clash. And to make it worse, Milan won. I know Milan fans will say they don’t care if Liverpool played better, only the result counts.
Yes, I admit it, I wanted Liverpool to win again. I think Milan got off too easily from the referee scandal that shook Italian football last year. They should never have been allowed to get into the CL to start with. I am pretty sure Berlusconi’s influence in Italy played a strong part in that. >:)
