Annoying Vista
I keep having “Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding” error messages, following which the computer would lose its display. I have had it sent for ‘repairs’ twice, without success. I have just done a system restore. Fed up. I will see if I can get a desktop computer for not too much. Can’t continue like [...]

Phone numbers lost
Darn! So stupid of me
Forgot to backup my phone before upgrading the software. Now I’ve lost some important phone numbers.
Losing SMS I don’t really care that much, but how can I contact the girls again? Oops, did I say girls? I meant some contacts’ details. Haha.

Laptop crashed again
Laptop crashed again yesterday. First diagnostic would be the new graphics card not working so well with current configuration. Saw the purple streaking and picture freezing that occurred just before the other graphics card went off.
Still haven’t installed new theme as I can’t use my laptop to make file transfers/upgrades. Probably will install the Vita [...]

I have a song that I linked to the blog, and somehow people were downloading it from the site (I blame Yahoo, Google, etc for finding out about the song :D ), thus the incredible traffic. I have deleted the song from my [...]

As a result, they’ve pinpointed the French as the recipient of their anger. (This plus the fact that the French president [...]

Youtube blocked again
As troubles flare in the Western area of China, and protests are organised in the region called Tea-bet (I guess you can figure out what the exact name is), the Chinese censorship strikes again.
Since yesterday, it has not been possible to access Youtube and for most of the yesterday you could not access Yahoo.com mail. [...]

Yay for WordPress 2.3.1
I have been struggling with the recent versions of WordPress for several months. I kept having my draft posts disappear on save / save and continue. And even when it is saved, a view post would result in a blank page.
Fortunately, with the latest 2.3.1 version, things are back to normal. Well, normal as much [...]

New HP laptop finally received
I have finally received the long-awaited HP laptop. I was supposed to get it while in HK on my way back to Mauritius but for some reasons it wasn’t ready. Last weekend I got it from a cousin who brought it for me in her luggage (she already had her own business laptop with her).
It’s [...]
